Phillies score 4 in 9th to beat Marmol, Cubs 4-1

The ugliness was of historic proportions, even for the Cubs.The fact that the guilty parties faced up to their contributions did little to take the sting out of a 4-1 to the Phillies Saturday at Wrigley Field.

Soto’s miss, Marmol’s wildness doom Cubs

one play in the ninth inning Saturday, it was both for the Cubs and
catcher Geovany Soto. After Soto missed what would have been the game-ending catch to tag  out Brian Schneider at the plate for the win, the Phillies went on to score three more runs in the inning, taking
